Shirt Finish:

Is a mandatory options to let us know preferred finish for your maille product.

Sleeve Tapering: (Applicable for Chain Mail Shirts)

Is a mandatory option to confirm if you prefer standard flat or tapered sleeves for your maille Hauberk.

Integrated Coif: (Optional)

To identify best size and ensure the hauberk do not hang on the head over the shoulder, take a measuring tape and start from back of the neck till center point of head, then add 2-3 inches extra which allows free neck movement. A Medium Large size viking should at least go for 15" integrated coif or more. For any further question please contact us.

Add Mittens (Optional)

Applicable for only full sleeves chain mail shirts, please make sure that your maille hauberk has at least 16 inch of sleeve length for adding chain mail or leather based mittens. The 10" leather gloves will be added at the end of sleeve covering 2 inches of area resulting in at least 8 inches of increase in the total sleeve length. So a 20 inches sleeve from armpit will become average of 27-28 inches after adding mittens on the measuring tape. Similarly the chain mail based mitten will increase over all sleeve length to 8-9 inches extra.

Brass Trim, Leather Edging, Riding Split & Ventail are optional add on's to your maille products.

All the flat riveted chain mail products are available in 3 finish, the original Oiled which represents ancient historic outlook of original Mild Steel chain mail products, you have to keep them oiled to avoid getting rust, a frequent fighter should not worry too much as it chain mail only gets rusty when kept for a long time unused or in humid conditions. The black finish also called Auto black (Black Oxide) procedure basically the hot blackening of chain mail products by dipping into various tanks. It is done by a third party however we ensures good quality and long lasting finish. Last but not he least a shiny galvanized finish also rust proof and very popular among reenactors. We only charge minor amount for galvanized finish and the Original Oiled or Blackend finish is available at same price. Feel free to choose desired finish for our entire medieval inventory by choosing respective options.
