@Ralf: We regret inconvenience with the product. Hauberks are generally made straight since individual body types are not known. We have provision of adding riding slit to facilitate leg movement without additional charge. Each of these rings is hand riveted and since this is a fully riveted product few bad rings can come off due to mishandling in transit or otherwise, that is the reason we send a bag of loose rings and rivets with each order for minor repairs. Your feedback is well taken and will be shared with production and quality checking team to be more careful in future. Thank you.
I ordered the blackened rings with brass trim. Great looking piece. I doesn't flare out towards the bottom so it's a little tight in the legs. If I had known they made them as a long tube and not properly gored I would have ordered it with a riding split. Also, a handful of rivets have already fallen out of it. For the money, I expected a little more
