Other than the chalk marks used for mesurements during their construction, my gambesons are true to size and well stitched. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase.
Absolutely love this gambeson. I got the brown and black, it's a gorgeous colour. Well constructed. It looks great on! I asked for them to err on the small side, and it's a little neat, so I'd say their sizing might run a bit small normally.
I ordered a custom colour-scheme of brown and black, and even though it took months to get here, it was well worth the wait! <3 The tailoring around the waist is wonderful and very slimming (or as slimming as a gambeson can be), and the buckles are much more solid than I thought they would be for the price point. My only concern is that the sleeves are just slightly too short on me, but that's understandable considering I'm 6ft 3in. All in all, it's quite possibly the best, most stylish gambeson I could get for this price, and I love it to bits! Thank you All Best Stuff, I'll be using this for training for many years to come. :)
I custom ordered this jacket(different color & shorter). I placed the order on 4 April 2018 and it arrived in Canada on 7 june 2018. It was quite worth the wait. The gambeson looks stunning in yellow & black. The jacket appears to be well made and the stitching is solid. No lose threads. The buckles are adequate. I can hardly wait to wear it in the next medieval fair. It also looks warm enough to be worn casually in the fall and in our early Canadian winter.
