This rectangle shape medieval maille hood features a European 4 in 1 round riveted weave made from steel wire. It uses 16 G 9 MM rings for its maille construction.

Chose this coif as it met my requirement to cover only the upper part of the front chest area. I had no need for a wider coif (more weight!). Excellent quality and very good value.
