Pair of leather based chain mail mittens reinforced with thick leather for advance protection of hands, total of 3 protective layers with inner most genuine leather mitten, 5 mm thick leather riveted at the back of the hand and top most protected by Stainless Steel chain mail rings. Full protection including forearm area (back of the hand).

Really happy with the overall product. However, the first time I put them on, large sections of the glove stitching failed around both fingers. Thread could not handle the increased stress of the leather and maille on the seams around the fingers. Used a stitching awl with some sinew and laced them back up pretty fast. I think they will hold up well now, but the stock stitching on the gloves might need an upgrade if you add the leather reinforcements.
