Ring Size: 18 Gauge 9 MM
This 15th-century chainmail brayette is a historically inspired piece of late medieval groin protection, crafted for durability, authenticity, and long-term wear. Traditionally worn by knights and men-at-arms, the brayette was attached to a belt, mail skirt, or arming points as part of a complete harness.Handmade from stainless steel flat riveted rings, this brayette features a European 4-in-1 weave using 18-gauge wire with 9 mm internal diameter rings, providing an excellent balance of strength, flexibility, and corrosion resistance. The articulated mail construction allows natural movement while maintaining reliable protection.
