This chain mail coif is made from steel wire using 18 Gauge 9 MM rings in a European 4 in 1 round riveted weave with solid rings. The combination of round riveted and solid rings gives the coif a distinctive maille construction.

Our Chain mail arrived with a small portion not attached. I did not want to return it because my son is still pleased with it and he scared he will not get it back. Contacted company by email 2 times and never not a reply. Had wanted to get a repair kit or some extra loops. Little disappointed they never got back to me. Other wise I am very pleased with the item and the shipping.
Coif fits my brother great(note: with an arming cap, as it should), he is very happy. The mail quality is good. - Nathan
