A fully battle-ready replica of a Spangenhelm with cheek guards type Baldenheim. This Spangenhelm with cheek guards type arose in the course of the 5th century and spread to all Germanic as well as to the Slavic tribes during the 6th century. This version of the Spangenhelm with cheek guards has been developed especially for re-enactment and is of 16 steel construction. The helmet has two cheek guards of steel, which are covered with leather and clad inside. Chin-straps from leather are fastened to the cheek guards. A riveted, high-class, and adjustable padded cloth-liner is included. Use a heavy inner padding inside for protection. Standard Adult Size fully wearable.

Love the Helmet for the look and feel for the historic work. But sadly what I don'y like is that the helmet is more circular than oval as it stated it would be. In which makesit hard to wear, and use.
