Medieval Secret Helmet made of 14 Gauge Steel .This fully ready replica of a medieval, visor less helmet. During tournaments it was often worn underneath a great helm or a simple cloth head dress. During close combat or "normal" the great helmets were often discarded as they impeded sight and breathing and were very hot. So often the steel skull cap provided the only protection while allowing for best possible vision. At the sides and rear there are holes for easy attachment of an aventail. This is an inexpensive helmet for beginners. Use a heavy inner padding inside for protection. Standard Adult Size fully wearable.

I just love the Helmet, looks perfect, feels perfect, and even fits perfect, would I use this in any renactments in the 13th century, yes I would. The Helm fits great under a coif of mail, and even a great helm. Would deeply recommend this helm for anyone into renactments in the 13th century.
