I purchased this maille for a medieval reenactment outfit I’ve been putting together, and it was exactly the kind of piece I was looking for. The 47-inch chest gives me enough room to wear it over my padded tunic, and the 8 mm rings have a really nice appearance when viewed up close. I particularly like the pin-riveted detail because it gives the maille a much more traditional look than the basic costume versions I’ve owned before. I wore it during a full-day historical event with my belt, shield, and cloak, and it really brought the whole outfit together. It also looked great during our group photos.
