very good product, as it comes it is perfect for viking or saxon and great for later period searjant impression. the 6mm rings are very nice and though smaller rings are much more tedious to work with it really looks and feels better than the 8mm maille i was working on prior. would highly recommend if youre looking for new maille that you get 6mm ring maille i bought this with plans to tailor it and and it has served as a good base for me to build up my 12thC knights impression. though sold for a 38" chest i would have prefered a slimmer fit, 10" felt like too much excess for the tailored fit i was aiming to achieve, i have a 42" chest with my gambeson and still felt like taking the chest in would be beneficial. if tailoring take in the chest before you integrate a coif or work on the arms
