Round Riveted Flat Solid Legging 9 MM 16 Gauge

These chausses are pretty great. From the pictures I was not expecting them to provide any foot protection, but there's enough mesh at the bottom to cover up the heel and top of the foot. With a long leather strip it's pretty easy to tie off one side and weave it through a few rings, securing it to the bottom of a shoe. There was a tiny bit of modification to get these suspended correctly. At first they came a little long (I'm 6'2") when used with their standard belt-suspension method, which resulted in them hanging too low and bunching around the ankle. I chopped off the loop portion at the top and used more leather strip, cordage + aiglets, and a sewed lendenier to get them suspended more authentically. After that they fit like a charm with nearly no bunching.

The quality is pretty great- I've yet to do any sparring in these, but have jogged around with no rivets popping out. For the price I highly recommend them.
