This is a very stylish hand made leather pirate boots. A beautiful piece for re-enactment events at best price. 12.5 inches tall from sole with design on top. These shoes stand up to wear fairly well. Generally the shoe fits well. The only complaint is that the ankle is too large; that extra space in the ankle should probably be moved to the calf, at least for girls. I like the fact that these have a rubber sole on them. If the ankle fit better, this would be a five star item. For the price, these are an excellent purchased, and I will be ordering more.
