LARP Gothic Arm Protectors are a set of steel elbow cops (or cowters) designed to protect the elbow joints. The elbow cops are rounded with reinforcing ridges and steel rivets. Around the rim of each cop is a large V-shaped flange that deflects blows away from the elbows. A half rerebrace protects the upper arm and a vambrace protects the forearm below the cowters. Top grain leather straps are used to close the braces and a third leather strap around the elbow keeps the piece in place.
