The Burgonet came about in the 16th Century from the sallet. Popular in the beginning with the infantry but later the cavalry wore the helmets also. It ended up to become the most worn helmet during the 16th and 17th Century. Standard Adult Size fully wearable.

Kudos to the team for this helmet. It is incredible! Its very well made and fits just right. I have about a 22.5 in head. Any bigger than that and you might have some issues with padding for fighting.
