I ordered this chain mail for a medieval reenactment event because I wanted something with a little more room than the standard sizes I had tried before. The 54-inch chest fit comfortably over my padded tunic, and I really liked the extra space around the shoulders and torso. The round washer riveted rings give it a great old-fashioned look, especially when I wear it with my leather belt and medieval cloak. I was on my feet for most of the event, so having a lighter mail made a real difference by the end of the day. I’ve also used it for a couple of costume photos, and it looks much better in person than I expected.
