1.) How much is the length of this chainmail collar from shoulder?
A) This is a short chainmail collar and for a large size person it will NOT cover the shoulders. It will stop on or before touching the joint of the sleeve to the torso.
2.) The brass triangles looks different from the normal zig-zag pattern, is that correct?
A) Yes, there are three brass rows on the top in the photo, and the rest blackened, and then additional brass rows at the bottom. In the detail photo you can see how the brass rings are constructed as an edge; there are 8 rows which have brass rings on the bottom. Rows make up the zig zag points, and 4 rows extend the zig zag into the mild steel area.
