These look pretty good and function well for their price point. The plates are attached to a leather strap and not to each other. Leather strap is then sewn onto the interior leather gloves, which are a bit thin for their purpose. I've used them during HEMA sparring, and have had one finger plate tear out, but I was able to reattach it with some stitching. They are visually appealing and funtion well enough. I've taken a few pretty hard direct strikes with only minimal scratches and dents.

I was initially impressed with the fit and finish of this product.However, I found the plates tend to detach after a few minutes of moderate usage, and I had to add additional strapping to keep the cuff flush with the hand. A good project piece, but your mileage may vary.
