I know what you're thinking-this can't be legit. But it is. It understandably took some time to arrive, but I received a quality riveted aluminum chainmail short hauberk for about $150 with shipping. (I say short because some may expect a hauberk go down to the knees: the length is listed-32 inches) Only complaint is that it is tight. I can only wear it over a longsleeve tshirt. I am a small-boned woman. I do have shoulders, but not broad shoulders by any means. So a word of warning-go larger or order custom. I'm only planning to wear as a costume and not for fighting, so it's fine that I can't wear a gambeson under it (would be too hot anyway). If I want to be sure of a perfect fit, I should order custom-next time I might! Overall I'm very happy with the product, and you can't beat the price! When I was looking at chainmail online at various sites, it all seemed to be made in India. So unless you know someone local, I say go straight to the source.
