Carbon steel is contoured to the authentic shape of the historical helmet This Roman Auxiliary Cavalry Helm is crafted from 20 gauge steel, the helmet is fitted with hinged cheek plates and an integrated plate which guards the lower face. A turn-pin lock locks the cheek plates and face guard into position. Inside the helmet you will appreciate the soft leather suspension liner for it's natural comfort. Leather chin straps are adjustable. Please note this is a light weight thin metal helmet and NOT suitable for combat or fighting although we recommend it for role play and other performance based events.
