9 MM Stainless Steel Flat Ring and Rivet Pack

A couple of things-

These come saturated in machining oil. I stripped this off using acetone, which worked very well

These don't look like stainless steel. If anything they look like mild steel. To test this, I took one of my the cleaned rings and submerged it in water for two weeks, just to make sure these were actually stainless. I'm happy to report that there was no rusting during this experiment.

These have some spring to them, which unlike butted rings allows you to open them by hand AND they will close after opening.

So in short- these look like historical rings even though they are indeed stainless steel, AND you can knit them by hand without using pliers. In a word these are AWESOME. Would recommend.

PS- You might find some rings with mispunched holes, but at long as you keep an eye out for these and discard them as you go you should be good.
