These shoes are nice and are plausibly medieval. They stand up to wear fairly well, although the finish is slightly plastic-like (this odd finish seems to be wearing off now). Generally the shoe fits well. The only complaint is that the ankle is too large, so I had to cinch the ties all the way down, and it is uncomfortable. If the ankle fit better, this would be a five star item. For the price, these are an excellent purchased, and I will be ordering more.
