One of the popular Roman 16th Century armor is considered to be Lorica Segmentata. made from fine quality 18 Gauge Metal and 22 Gauge Brass. This Lorica has locks instead if compared to its more common design which has belt all across. The look and feel is enhanced through brass lining. The plates of Lorica Segmentata are made in 4 different parts, the upper & the lower divided into 2 separate parts. The strips were arranged horizontally overlapping downwards & surrounded the torso in two halves, being fastened at the front and back.
